Game Overview
In Roadside Research, you're an alien tasked with running a gas station as a cover for studying human behavior. The twist? Your extraterrestrial coworkers are disguised as ordinary staff, and you must keep the suspicion meter low while scanning customers and performing experiments. It's a hilarious mashup of Gas Station Simulator and Overcooked, with a stealth layer that keeps you on your toes.
Our team found that the game excels at creating tension between your duties as a business owner and your secret mission. You'll spend your days stocking shelves, preparing food, refueling cars, and cleaning up, all while trying to gather data on unsuspecting humans. The suspicion meter is your constant companion; if it fills up, government agents show up and it's game over. This push-and-pull makes every shift a delicate balancing act.
