Water You Doing? drops you and up to three friends onto a battered little vessel with one goal: survive the hostile water. The party plan goes wrong almost immediately, and you're left scrambling to keep the boat afloat while boulders crash down, mines drift into your path, and dangerous creatures crowd the deck. The tone stays silly and sociable rather than grim, but the journey demands constant improvisation from everyone aboard. I noticed the game's physics engine is deliberately clumsy, which turns every steering mistake into a potential disaster—and that's exactly where the fun lives.

You'll steer through hazardous waterways while using the ship's harpoon system to manipulate the environment, clear paths, and deal with obstacles that can't simply be sailed around. Additional harpoons unlock over time, expanding the ways your crew can solve problems. Later encounters feel more like chaotic environmental puzzles than straightforward navigation. Fishing provides an important source of income, with catches sold for useful supplies, while scavenged wood and scrap keep the damaged boat patched together. Failure is not always final: downed players can return with help from their teammates and a valuable Golden Fish, encouraging risky rescues during especially messy situations.
