This is a grimly funny 2D puzzle-strategy game where a shambling undead crowd becomes your army, and every human survivor is either food, a threat, or a potential recruit. Each mission asks you to guide zombies through side-scrolling levels packed with barricades, traps, armed civilians, and environmental hazards. Basic undead mindlessly march ahead, so success depends on using mutations at the right moment: create tough brutes to smash obstacles, agile leapers to cross gaps, explosive units to clear defenses, and other specialized horrors to answer specific problems. Biting survivors expands the horde, but careless movement can see your force shredded by gunfire or fed into industrial hazards, making timing and route planning essential. The campaign spans 50 increasingly demanding stages, balancing simple commands with puzzles that often require you to combine mutations, manipulate destructible scenery, and sacrifice a few zombies for the larger swarm.

Its strongest idea is the reversal of power: zombies are not enemies to mow down, but disposable, upgradeable tools that need constant supervision. Levels play a little like Lemmings filtered through a splattery zombie movie, with more aggression, traps, and tactical improvisation than a traditional platform puzzler. A full level editor and Workshop integration add considerable longevity for players who enjoy designing cruel scenarios or trying community-made campaigns.
