Game Overview
A prison break becomes a scrappy road trip when a band of raccoons escapes Animal Control with one rickety wagon and a dream of reaching Raccoon Paradise. Trash Day is a physics-driven cooperative adventure built around the noble art of stealing garbage, then somehow hauling it through a hostile, increasingly ridiculous wilderness. Its tone lands somewhere between slapstick party game and survival expedition: every triumph feels earned, but every mistake can turn the crew into a pile of tumbling fur, wheels, and loose junk.
Players scavenge dumpsters, bins, and abandoned corners for valuable trash and useful equipment, then load their findings onto a wagon that demands constant hands-on attention. Up to six people work together online to push, steer, repair, flip, and balance the cart across six distinct regions, while solo players face a considerably tougher challenge. Obstacles range from traffic and traps to collapsing terrain and rivers, so progress often means improvising with planks, bungee cords, terrain features, and occasionally a well-aimed raccoon launch. The characters can climb, clamber over one another, wear hats, eat questionable snacks, and interact in playful ways, but the physical chaos always feeds back into the central task of keeping the wagon moving.
The wagon is the star: it turns every hill, obstacle, and bad decision into a shared engineering problem rather than a simple checkpoint run. Areas feel designed to test coordination and experimentation, rewarding groups who communicate while leaving plenty of room for the kind of accidental disasters that make co-op sessions memorable. Fans of Gang Beasts, Human: Fall Flat, and the more unruly side of Overcooked should find plenty to enjoy, especially with a regular group of friends. Newcomers can jump in easily because the controls are intuitive, while veteran party-game players will appreciate the need to manage momentum, cargo, tools, and a rapidly unraveling plan all at once.
