Room 801 is a psychological adult side-scroller horror adventure inspired by anomaly-spotting games, placing you in the shoes of Hiyori Yasaka, a rookie office worker trapped in a strange and increasingly unsettling apartment building.

After another exhausting day at a notorious black company, Hiyori returns to her company dorm late at night and heads back outside in search of food. On the way, she encounters a terrifying spirit and suddenly finds herself standing outside her own room again, as if nothing happened. Before she can make sense of it, a mysterious woman appears and leaves behind one simple warning: if you notice anything unusual, return to your room—if everything seems normal, continue toward the elevator.

Carefully observe your surroundings, identify strange changes and decide whether it is safe to move forward. Small details can mean the difference between escaping the repeating hallway or being dragged deeper into whatever is haunting the building. With its eerie atmosphere, pixel-style presentation and escalating supernatural events, Room 801 mixes observation-based gameplay, horror and adult themes as Hiyori attempts to uncover the truth behind the endless corridor and find a way out.
