Fans of Rewrite get the most from its callbacks and alternate outcomes, but visual-novel players who enjoy character-driven routes in the vein of CLANNAD or Little Busters! can still appreciate its heartfelt, varied storytelling—provided they are comfortable starting with a sequel-oriented companion piece.
