PAYDAY 2

PAYDAY 2 drops you into the shoes of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, and Chains—a crew of professional criminals. The game’s core loop is simple: pick a job from the CRIMENET contract board, plan your approach, and execute. You can go in stealthy, taking out guards and hacking cameras, or go loud, blasting through waves of police while you drill safes and haul loot. Our team spent hours testing both styles, and I noticed the stealth mechanics feel tense and rewarding, while loud missions are pure adrenaline.

The v247.2 update brings everything up to date, including all the latest DLC. That means you get every heist, from the classic bank jobs to the more elaborate ones like the Alesso Heist or the Reservoir Dogs pack. The sheer amount of content is staggering—there’s always something new to try, and the skill trees allow for deep customization. You can build a medic, a tank, or a stealth specialist, and the perk decks add another layer of strategy.
