Game Overview
One Night With Kawaii drops you into a modest country house with a locked door, a scattered key, and an unpredictable pursuer. The premise is simple: find the key and escape before you're caught. But the execution is where this indie horror game shines. The "kawaii" character designs clash deliberately with the panic of the situation, creating a strange mix of cartoonish presentation and old-school chase horror. It's less about gore or elaborate story and more about sustained nervousness as you check corners, listen for footsteps, and decide whether to keep exploring or dive into a hiding spot.
We tested the game on a Windows 10 PC with an Intel i5 and 8GB RAM, and it ran smoothly at 60fps. The system requirements are modest, so even older hardware should handle it fine. The controls are straightforward: WASD to move, Shift to run, E to interact. You'll quickly get the hang of it.
