Command begins with managing officers, territory, resources, and military forces, then grows into a demanding balance between conquest and administration. Retainers are more than simple stat sheets: the Dominion system lets you assign them land, after which they develop their holdings and pursue objectives with a degree of autonomy. Players choose policies, negotiate alliances, arrange diplomacy, recruit talented officers, and direct armies during large-scale campaigns and castle sieges.
