HEXCRAFT: Harlequin Fair

HEXCRAFT: Harlequin Fair is an experimental RPG set on Toronto's nocturnal streets, which have been twisted into a hostile, shifting maze. A masquerade has turned into a trap, and the urban environment behaves less like scenery and more like a living system with its own agenda. The collapse of an online world hangs over the setting, but the real danger comes from the living systems moving around you — residents, factions, and locations that react to what you do rather than waiting for you to trigger them.

Survival means searching districts thoroughly, collecting peculiar tools, talking to strangers, and deciding when to hide, negotiate, manipulate, or fight. Magic and firearms sit side by side: you can prepare homemade concoctions, learn strange rituals, spend cash on weapons, and assemble solutions from whatever the city hands you. Six large areas change over time, while smaller locations hide secrets and opportunities. Revisiting a familiar place can reveal new dangers, altered relationships, or consequences from a decision you made hours earlier.
