Game Overview
A single ricocheting weapon carries the entire fight in Furyball: Rogue Revenge, a hard-edged action roguelite set in the scorched sprawl of Neo-Arcadia. You play a slum-born challenger trying to survive one brutal night of gang-controlled streets and reach the Furydome, where the city’s savage blood sport promises a final reckoning. The mood is pure grindhouse excess: retrofuturist ruins, violent athletic factions, neon grime, and a discopunk soundtrack that matches the deliberately trashy 1970s-inspired presentation.
Combat revolves around aiming, launching, and reclaiming the Furyball as it tears through enemies and rebounds around compact arenas. Positioning matters as much as timing, since a well-placed shot can ricochet through a crowd, bounce off hazards or walls, and return at an angle that keeps a combo alive. Runs build momentum through equipment upgrades and interchangeable ball modules, letting you stack effects such as burning, bleeding, crushing damage, and other destructive synergies. Death resets the immediate attempt, but unlocks and upgrades broaden future build options, encouraging experimentation rather than simple repetition.
Neo-Arcadia’s districts are designed like deadly pinball tables, giving each encounter a more physical, improvisational feel than a typical twin-stick arena roguelite. Rival gangs bring their own combat gimmicks and boss encounters, forcing you to adjust your build instead of relying on one safe strategy from start to finish. The central hook lands somewhere between the repeatable build-crafting of Hades and the rebound-driven chaos of pinball, filtered through the hostile spectacle of Rollerball and Mad Max. It suits players who enjoy demanding arcade action, fast restarts, and discovering outrageous damage combinations, while newcomers should expect a learning curve built around mastering angles and movement.
