Game Overview

A first-person drone combat shooter lives or dies by its controls, and Firehawk makes piloting the weapon as important as aiming it. You fly armed racing-style drones through islands, desert sites, dark operations, and cramped industrial spaces where speed, momentum, and approach angles decide every fight. The mood is intense rather than military-sim stern: crashes are expected, near misses are thrilling, and mastering a difficult line through a combat zone feels as satisfying as landing the kill. Its roguelite campaign frames every failure as another chance to improve your hangar and return with better options.

Piloting relies on rotor-based flight behaviour, so drones coast, drift, dive, and carry their inertia instead of stopping on command. Arcade controls make the action approachable on mouse and keyboard or a standard controller, while Realistic mode supports acro-style flying, configurable rates, and FPV radio hardware for players who want genuine freestyle-drone handling. Missions mix hostile drone battles, weapons and gadget drops, escalating enemy squads, and bosses, with persistent unlocks expanding the selection of 23 airframes and a substantial arsenal. Beyond the solo campaign, players can tackle endless survival alone or in co-op, race fixed-course Time Trials, or bring unlocked equipment into online matches.

Firehawk stands apart by treating flight skill as the central competitive language rather than adding drones to a conventional shooter template. Autofire helps radio users focus on tracking and positioning, but manual shooting remains available for pilots who want full responsibility for each trigger pull. PvP supports modes including free-for-all, team deathmatch, objective play, and capture-the-flag-style matches for up to ten participants, although its multiplayer component remains in beta and may suit players comfortable with a developing community. Fans of Quake-like movement mastery, roguelite progression, or real FPV flying will find plenty to chase here, while newcomers should begin in Arcade mode and expect a rewarding but crash-heavy learning curve.
