Setup Guide & Troubleshooting
Is Escape From Ithara completely free?
Yes. The listing carries a Free license, and the download is served through UploadHaven at no cost. The archive is 725.37 MB and extracts to a pre-installed build you can launch directly.
How do I install Escape From Ithara?
Click the download button to open UploadHaven, wait out any countdown, and select Free Download. Once the archive finishes, extract it to an Escape From Ithara folder with 7-Zip, open the folder, and start the game normally. If it fails to launch, install the DirectX and Vcredist packages from the _Redist folder inside the game directory.
What are the system requirements?
Windows XP, Vista, or 7; a Pentium Core 2 at 2.6GHz or AMD equivalent; 2 GB RAM; an NVIDIA 8600 Series or ATI equivalent GPU; DirectX 9.0; 4 GB of available storage; and a DX9.0c compatible sound card.
How long does Escape From Ithara take to finish?
It is a short, self-contained adventure. In our playthrough the four rooms and the Criptex mechanism came together in roughly one to two sessions. Veteran puzzle players will likely clear it in a single evening.
Is there an official version number for this build?
No. The download page does not publish a version string, so we label the version as estimated rather than inventing one. Use the request-updates link in the status panel if you need to confirm you have the newest files.
