OVERVIEW OF DELTA PARTICLES
Delta Particles is a fresh single-player mod for Half-Life that throw’s you into the chaos of the HL universe. You play as Nick Farrell, a technical engineer working at the secretive “Delta Base.” Of course, things go south real quick when an experiment at the Black Mesa Research Facility triggers a resonance cascade, opening a portal to Xen and unleashing alien creatures on Earth.
The mod brings a whole new single-player campaign, split into 4 chapters with 35 maps. This isn’t a short ride—it’ll take you anywhere from 3 to 6 hours to finish. And with new characters, a gripping storyline and ton’s of fresh adventures, there is a lot to sink your teeth into.

The storys set in a new scientific complex buried somewhere in the Nevada desert. Delta Base is the main competitor to Black Mesa, backed by the U.S. government’s grant for teleportation research. You will explore new locations range from lab’s to industrial zones and discover the secret’s hidden within.
You’ll also get access to an arsenal of weapons, including some seriously revamped classics and a few new ones to make sure you’re locked and loaded for whatever Xen throws at you.
And don’t even get me started on the soundtrack. The dark ambient vibes, courtesy of Iron Cthulhu Apocalypse and Out of Hell, will totally immerse you in the creepy, atmospheric feel of the game. If you’re a fan of the Xen world, you’re gonna love the vibe here. It is just all-around intense, creepy, and epic.
