Players select one of four Divas and battle through more than 16 stages, clearing groups of enemies with basic strikes, throws, specials, and increasingly elaborate combos. Viva serves as the well-rounded lightning user, Hina favors fiery ranged pressure, Bahati controls space with wrestling slams and suplexes, while speedy Sofia relies on agile movement and wind-themed attacks. Branching routes give stages some replay value, and the usual combat loop is regularly broken up by arcade-style diversions such as board-smashing challenges and speedboat sequences. Local multiplayer supports up to four players, making it easy for a group to turn the campaign into a suitably unruly couch co-op session, while an in-game shop offers weapons, cheats, unlockables, and gallery art to chase.

Hand-drawn animation is one of the biggest draws, with a deliberately hyperactive frame-by-frame style that recalls the manic motion of Pizza Tower and Antonblast rather than a stiff retro imitation.
