This DLC kick’s off a massive five-part series, bringing legendary ships to the Caribbean all tied together by one epic, tragic story.
The waters of the Caribbean just got a lot more dangerous with the arrival of the galleon Santa Misericordia. This massive treasure ship, led by the relentless Don Fernando de Alamida, cruises from Spanish ports, supposedly purging corruption and sin in the colonies. But beneath the golden ornaments and the captain’s holy mission, there’s something darker lurking in the shadows…
This new chapter brings a global map event that you can dive into in both story and sandbox mode’s. Fernando de Alamida makes regular visits to Spanish cities, so you’ll have the chance to gather rumors and even meet the captain himself along the way. There are some Interesting new unique item’s up for grabs, like a holy sword and a mysterious ward, also an epic boss fight against a super-skilled opponent. Of course, you will have to deal with the mighty galleon itself, which brings unique effect’s to the table.
This is just the beginning of a dramatic story that unfolds across the seas and you will earn four new achievements along the way. But don’t rush in and attack the galleon right off the bat. Take your time to gather rumors from the cities it visits first.
The galleon power’s up some new items and Christian amulets, but these items can also empower the ship in return. Be careful when attacking near port, though—there’s a big bounty on your head if you get too reckless, and it could drain your finances fast.
