Game Overview
A hostile planet becomes a nightly hunting ground in this top-down sci-fi action RPG, where survival depends as much on timing as firepower. You play a stranded Space Desant death-chaplain with extraction still 33 days away, trapped beneath the attention of military patrols, special-operations killers, and opportunistic bounty hunters. Daylight forces you into cover among basements and wrecked structures, while the darkness opens a narrow window to scavenge supplies, raid installations, and cut down anyone standing between you and evacuation. The mood is harsh, grimy, and tactical, balancing military sci-fi hardware with forbidden occult power.
Each outing sends you through procedurally assembled regions packed with shifting enemy groups, loot opportunities, hazards, and unexpected encounters. Combat centers on twin-stick-style shooting and build crafting, with plasma weapons, lasers, ballistics, and stranger experimental tools joining spells based around energy control, vampirism, and necromancy. Raising fallen combatants gives every bloody encounter a useful afterlife, allowing you to rebuild a force in the field rather than simply treating casualties as failure. Between expeditions, a persistent base serves as a workshop and refuge where you construct facilities, recruit fighters with distinct traits, improve equipment, and prepare specialized loadouts for the next dangerous night.
Its strongest idea is the pressure created by the day-and-night structure: the surface is not just another open combat zone, but a place where exposure itself becomes a problem to solve. Tech-magic combinations encourage experimentation, whether that means building around overwhelming ranged damage, draining enemies for survival, or turning corpses into an expendable undead squad. Procedural locations spanning ruined cities, military compounds, and abandoned facilities should keep repeat runs from becoming too predictable, while the base layer gives losses and discoveries long-term value. Players who enjoy the escalating builds of Hades or the loot-and-skill interplay of action RPGs, but want a darker, more tactical shooter framework, are the natural audience; newcomers can learn through repeated runs, while roguelike veterans have plenty of room to optimize.
